''Origami is a Japanese art or technique a folding paper into a variety of decorative or representational forms, such as animals, flowers. (Anon, 2015) The Japanese word "Origami" itself is a compound of two smaller Japanese words: "ori", meaning to fold, and "kami", meaning paper. '' (Wikipedia, 2015) ''The first works of original modern origami (in the 1950's) are due to the master Yoshizawa Akira.'' (Anon, 2005-2014)

''Most people think of Origami simply as the art of paper folding. But the reality is this unique Japanese art can be and has been interpreted in various aspects of design. From furniture to interiors to architecture, it seems that there are no categories in which Origami has not been applied. Here then is a look at the many facets of Origami-inspired design.''

In order to have deeper understanding of the origami concept through an architecture, I had studied on how the architect think of the origami ideas and how they show off excellent lines and shape without sacrificing form and function through origami concept. One of the abstract forms created modern architecture at the Chapel in Villeaceron, where the designers from the Sancho-Madridejos Architecture Office manipulated the space by using a technique origami. ''Origami is always interesting to look at where it shows the flexibility of creating different kind of shape or forms. Origami can produce a panoply of shapes and forms using only a single sheet of paper. Their constructions are inherently structural and can even be bend, contract, and expand which things that buildings can't do either. The art of origami is the key to unlocking whole new conceptual modes of thought for designers.''
